Is it REALLY that hard for men to NOT be creepy or is it just the default behavior

Walking home late at night. I see a man being creepy smoking his cigarette on the corner. I cross the street. The man follows me. From afar.

But of course, spidey senses always have to be on.

I get to my door ready to slam it. He crosses the street and I give him the look of 500 deaths.

He says, “Sorry I just want to know if you’re Jewish and something else?”

(He is wearing what I identified as Hasidic Jewish attire)

I guess this Bozo doesn’t know Black Jews exist, but that’s another conversation entirely.

I’m like what?

He points out that what I’m wearing “Jewish-style”

A black skirt with black tights.

umm ok.

No.

He laughs nervously says ok, and walks off.

Creep.

I recounted the story to my roommate and said so you follow me to ask me if I’m Jewish.  WTF, kinda creep behavior you think is acceptable is going on here? Why couldn’t he have asked me that question in front of the precint, when he first saw me and where it was well lit?

She says “And where it’s easier to arrest him.”

CREEPS.
